Petztorme Womens Association
The PWA was formed in 1997 to represent women’s interests in the development of Lihir.
Petztorme is the main women’s representative organisation in Lihir. The PWA has run a number of self-help and education programs for women, assisted women with small-scale economic development projects, and actively participates in the planning and monitoring of Lihirian social and economic development.
The PWA has an office near the Londolovit wharf. The office is open from 9am-5pm Monday to Friday. Phone/Fax: 986 4700
